Fit4Life 1.30: Fitness tester and utilities for Nokia 9200 series Communicators ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12 May 2004 (re-released 1.30 with new UID to solve clash with Reboot app) Fully-working shareware by Steve Litchfield. Please report all bugs and suggestions to steve.litchfield@ukonline.co.uk Installation ------------ Don't panic! If you unzipped Fit4Life OK, you should have ended up with 3 separate files. One will be this text file 8-) The other two are SIS files. If you *don't* know what a .SIS file is, this must be one of the very first third party applications you've ever installed. Don't worry, it's all quite painless. Just double-click on the "fit4life.sis" file to launch the Nokia/Symbian installer on the PC itself and to complete the installation. You'll be asked which disk to install to - most experts recommend that ALL third party software be installed to your 'D' disk (i.e. your MMC card), to leave as much room on your precious 'C' disk as possible. If you haven't yet upgraded your Communicator with the special "Date" OPX (this makes timing things possible) then you'll need to double-click on "DateOPX.sis" as well. Finally, you'll probably have already added the OPL Runtime patch to your Communicator, but if you haven't then go to: http://opl-dev.sourceforge.net/opl9200.html and grab and install a copy. You need the OPL Runtime if you want to be able to run any freeware and shareware OPL games and utilities. If all went well, you should now have a new "Fit4Life" icon in your Extras section. Expert troubleshooting ---------------------- [For the technically minded, after installation, all Fit4Life program files should exist in \system\apps\fit4life on your chosen disk.] Registration ------------ To register this software and to support future development, please send a cheque for £7 (seven pounds Sterling) to: Steve Litchfield 22 Grays Crescent Woodley Reading RG5 3EN Great Britain or pay by PayPal to 'slitchfield@ukonline.co.uk' or use your credit card on-line at http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/register.htm By registering, you'll also salve your guilty conscience(!) and reward me for the time and effort spent developing this program.
